Electrician – Opportunities in Taupo
Are you an experienced Electrician with a NZ EWRB Practicing License looking for a new challenge? Are you willing to relocate to Taupo? We would like to talk to you soon.
We are looking for a fully qualified Electrician for our Taupo based client with background knowledge and experience with the following (but not limited to):
Examining blueprints, wiring diagrams and specifications to determine sequences and methods of operation
Fault finding and problem-solving skills, coupled with a 'can-do' attitude
Selecting, cutting and connecting wire and cable to terminals and connectors
All Electrical aspects of dairy sheds, irrigation, effluent systems, refrigeration, water pumps, and their control
Using electrical and electronic test instruments to trace and diagnose faults
Repairing and replacing faulty wiring and defective parts
Positioning and installing electrical switchboards
Connecting electrical systems to power supply
Testing continuity of circuit
About You:
Minimum 3+ years' experience
NZ EWRB Practicing License
Effective communication skills and be customer focused
Knowledge and understanding of the current New Zealand Electrical Regulations
A positive attitude to working in a safe and healthy manner
Experience with Residential, Commercial and (Rural experience advantageous)
Full class 1 clean NZ driver's licence
New Zealand residency or a valid NZ working visa
In Return:
Minimum pay range $38-$40 depending on experience
