Clive Wilson Switchboards (CWS) is a leading Invercargill-based industrial switchboard manufacturer, with more than 56 years in the business. Our workshop is a busy one, with more than 20 employees across our electrical switchboard, powder coating and engraving divisions.
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Electrician to join our team. Ideally, you'll have previous experience with industrial switchboard manufacturing; however, this is not essential.

Be a fully New Zealand registered Electrician.
Current NZ Drivers' Licence and reliable transport.
Be in good health.
Be proficient with power and hand tools.

Have top-notch communication skills.
Be physically able.

Be familiar with current Health & Safety protocols.
Role Requirements: Layout and wiring of the following: Industrial commercial motor control centres, main switchboards, and light and power distribution boards.
Testing to As/NZS 3000/61439 standards.
Construction of switchboard panels and framing.
Some site work from time to time.
Ability to interpret electrical schematics.
We're looking for someone that has great attention to detail, with the drive to produce only the highest quality of finished product for our clients.
Hours of work will be 8 hours a day: 8am – 4.30pm weekdays with half hour lunch break. Overtime is expected of our team when deadlines are tight and workload is heavy.
