Are you a dynamic and experienced leader ready to take the helm of a well-established electrical company in Canterbury? We are looking for an Electrical Division Manager who will thrive in a role that blends leadership with hands-on work.

As our Electrical Division Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our electrical division, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will report directly to the Managing Director and be a key player in driving our success.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the planning and execution of electrical projects.
Manage a small team of electricians.
Provide pricing and quotes to customers.
Hire and train new staff.
Liaise directly with clients.
Handle invoicing for all work.
Meet targets for sales and profit margins.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure project success.
Monitor and report on project progress, making adjustments as needed.
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory standards.
Requirements

Suitable electrical trade certification with hands-on electrical experience.
Solid communication and team-working skills.
Proven track record of success in managing projects and teams.
Strong working knowledge of operational procedures.
Knowledge of solar systems installations is an advantage.
Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
Familiarity with relevant safety and regulatory standards.
Experience with HVAC and Solar is beneficial but not essential.
