Electrical Technician

About the opportunity: A great job opportunity has opened up with one of our valued clients in Whangarei. As they are expanding their electrical side of the business, they have a vacancy for an Electrical Technician to join their Whangarei team who works between Cape Reinga to Wellsford. They are offering $29 - $35 per hour for a minimum of 40 hours per week. Role description: You will be responsible for residential, commercial and industrial servicing and general repairs. You will also be involved in residential housing, heat pump installation, and all electrical work associated with our client's business. Your responsibilities will include: Diagnose malfunctions and defects in equipment Operate tools, gauges and other testing equipment for refrigeration systems Apply troubleshooting methods, replace parts and run tests to ensure the systems are working properly following repairs Perform preventative maintenance on refrigeration systems This role will suit someone with all or some of the following background/experience/qualities: A minimium of 3 years of experience in an electrical related role Excellent time management and organisational skills Can work independently A high level of customer service skills About the company: Our client is a thriving local provider of refrigeration products with years of industry experience. They are based in Kaitaia, Kerikeri and Whangarei and service from Cape Reinga to Warkworth. They supply refrigeration and air conditioning requirements to the highest level.
