About the Role As our Electrical Planner, you will report to the Electrical Coordinator and work alongside a team of multi-skilled electricians, electrical engineers, and technicians while also collaborating with wider Pulp teams, including other planners to complete work.
In your role, you will support the daily maintenance work and minor projects for the electrical team by providing planning, scheduling, and part management expertise.
You will also assist with analyzing completed work and identify future opportunities for efficiency improvements and best practices.
Your role significantly contributes to the pulp mill meeting its performance targets through well-planned and resourced work, allowing domestic and international customer orders to be met.
Some of your key responsibilities are:
Plan all maintenance activitiesParts sourcing and procurementReview, maintain, and update work order recordsProcurement of non-standard services required to perform workProvide job safety training to relevant contractorsCreate documentation and records for future referenceWeekly reports on job completion ratesThis is a day position from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
This role is based at our Whirinaki site located 15 minutes north of Napier.

Relevant electrical qualification/degreeEither 3 years of experience in a planning role or 3 years of experience in a practical electrical role with a passion for planningStrong planning and organisation skillsAbility to work collaborativelyA strong electrical aptitude and demonstrated practical experiencePlanning or project experience would be advantageousExperience working in a manufacturing or industrial environmentStrong attention to detailGood oral and written communication skillsWe look forward to reviewing your application.
