We're working with a large manufacturing business which operates 24/7 that is actively seeking to add qualified Electricians to its Manufacturing Engineering Support teams.Shift Electrician/Electrical Maintenance EngineerYou will be responsible for servicing and maintenance of all production related equipment, including fault diagnosis and repair, continuous improvement project/task work, ordering of spares and reviewing/checking designs and drawings on installation projects.To be successful, we would like you to have:A recognised industrial electrical qualification (17th/18th Edition).Experience working as a Shift Electrician or as a dedicated Electrical Engineer in a manufacturing environment.Experience in the print, packaging or associated industries would be great but is not essential.Experience with maintenance programmes.Ideally experience working a buddy system with a Mechanical Engineer.Good communication, organisational and teamwork skills.Self-motivation, ability to apply initiative and determination.Specific training where required will be provided, OEM suppliers and via remote modem diagnostic support from the OEM.This is a great opportunity to join a leading print manufacturer in a key electrical engineering role, working on large scale machinery in a time-sensitive manufacturing environment.Annualised Average 42 hour working week
