The role: We are seeking a registered Electrical Inspector to join our high-performing Central Otago team based in Cromwell. Reporting to the Field Manager Technical Services, you'll work autonomously to provide electrical inspection and associated services. Your collaborative approach and customer service orientation will allow you to effectively liaise with electrical contractors, customers, and regulatory agencies - building strong professional relationships, internally and externally, across the Region. You will bring a thorough knowledge of Electrical Regulations and Codes of Practice. The position involves a range of residential and commercial work including inspecting and reporting on electrical accidents and fires, inspecting prescribed work and connection applications, and the provision of or alteration to electricity supply to installations. Ideally, you have experience working on Aurora's network, PV installation inspections, and HV installation inspections. We are looking for a proactive individual with strong customer service and problem-solving skills, capable of working independently.
