Due to a hugely successful 2024 and a great forward workload heading into 2025, they are now looking to bring on an Electrical Estimator with project management capability to assist with upcoming projects.PROJECT DIVERSITYProjects ranging from $50K to $5M+ in valueInstallations, Lighting, Automation, Controls, HVAC, Heat Pumps, Data & Audio VisualIndustrial – Factories & WarehousesCommercial – Offices, Retail & HospitalityAgricultural – Farming, Wineries & BreweriesResidential – Multi-Unit Housing, New Builds & RenovationsWHATS ON OFFER FOR YOU?Basic salary from $85K - $110KFully expensed company vehicle, business & personal - circa $15K per yearPhone and laptop providedKiwiSaver contributionsProfessional & career development opportunitiesLong term buy-in opportunity for the right personTHE ROLEEstimating, tendering and competitive bidding for a range of Industrial, Commercial & Residential projects from $50K up to $5M+ in valuePredominantly an Estimator but requires a blend of strong technical electrical knowledge for some light project management duties when requiredAnalysing blueprints, project specifications and other documentations to prepare detailed cost estimatesProject planning / feasibility – project timelines, schedules & resource allocationWork with a close-knit team of hands-on Directors, Managers and Site teamsFinancial management – Monitor and control project budgets, prepare financial reports and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budgetLiaise with architects, engineers, surveyors and clientsWHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?Electrical Estimator with 3 years+ of experience with a NZ based electrical contractorPrior exposure to project co-ordination, planning or project managementNew Zealand experience is a MUST for this role as we require strong knowledge of NZ codes, regulations and industry standardsStrong communication skills for internal and client managementProficient in NZ costing and project management softwareGood analytical and problem-solving skills
