The Role: As part of our client's Design & Engineering Team, this role will involve working closely with a range of technically focused engineers to create detailed design drawings. You will utilise your 3D modelling skills and collaborate with clients across the distribution, transmission, and industrial sectors. This is a great opportunity to further develop your technical skillset in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment. The collaborative nature of the role will position you as a key contact throughout all stages of the design process, making your expertise and input highly valued.
About You: Bringing extensive experience in drafting, you will be a driven individual eager to tackle a range of technical challenges while being recognised as a technical expert. With a background in the electrical sector, you will have significant experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or Inventor, and the ability to create accurate drawings efficiently. You might come from a consultancy or asset owner in the energy sector, specialising in drafting for transmission or distribution projects, and be motivated to work as part of a passionate, high-level team in a supportive environment. Alternatively, you could have an industrial or commercial background with experience in drafting complex projects and an interest in the power sector. Candidates with experience in HV/MV substation drawings are strongly encouraged to apply.
