Tauhara North No.2 Trust is seeking a skilled and culturally competent professional to step into the role of Manaaki Kaiarahi Education Programme Coordinator on a 6-month fixed term basis, covering for our current Kaiarahi during parental leave. This role is crucial in ensuring the continued delivery and management of our educational programmes, maintaining alignment with the Trust's values and strategic vision.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of educational initiatives throughout the parental leave period.Sustain partnerships with local schools, educators, and community organisations to maintain and enhance programme engagement and outreach.Develop and refine programme materials, resources, and curricula with an emphasis on cultural relevance and inclusivity.Monitor participant engagement and feedback to inform ongoing improvement and ensure high-quality programme delivery.Manage educational programme budgets, ensuring financial accountability and effective resource allocation.Provide essential administrative support for all Whakaparirau - Education and Employment team programmes, ensuring continuity and operational efficiency during the parental leave period.Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and respond to emerging educational needs and trends within the Trust.This fixed term role is integral in supporting the educational journeys of our tamariki, upholding the mission of Tauhara North No.2 Trust, and ensuring the continuity of the current Kaiarahi's work.Required Skills:Proven organisational and project management skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage a diverse range of stakeholders.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite software applications.Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary and diverse teams.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Cultural competency with a deep understanding of Maori perspectives and practices.Experience in educational programme or curriculum development.Required Experience:Minimum of 3 years' experience in education coordination or a related field.Demonstrated success in managing projects from inception to completion.Experience working within community organisations or the education sector.Familiarity with assessment frameworks and evaluation methodologies.Proven experience in stakeholder engagement, particularly with iwi or hapu groups.Background in Te Ao Maori and tikanga Maori is highly desirable.Eligibility: Applicants must have New Zealand residency or a valid work visa.
