Full time, Fixed term, Start Date: 13/01/2025, End Date: 19/12/2025 (Additional teaching support for 2025 academic year)TertiaryMathematics and statistics, ScienceProfessional developmentDo you have a primary teaching background, with interest and skill in numeracy and/or science subjects?We are looking for a teacher educator to join our team in 2025.We seek individuals with recent teaching experience in Initial Teacher Education in New Zealand, alongside experience in mentoring and developing student teachers and/or beginning teachers, and an understanding of their needs. Our ideal applicants will also be looking to join a team who combine a strong sense of mission with the academic mind and educational heart of a Christian College. Our current Education programmes include a Bachelor of Education (Primary) and a Graduate Diploma in Education (Secondary). Our Initial Teacher Education programmes ground graduates in a deeply relational theology, which inspires their presence in the classroom, the way they encounter learners and whanau, and their valuing of teaching, learning, and knowledge.You will report to the Head of Education and will work closely alongside the other Education Lecturers on our Christchurch and Auckland campuses.
