In this role, you will work closely with staff across all subject areas to design and develop student-centered learning experiences in a blended learning environment. The appointing salary for this role will be between $82,876 and $85,000 gross FTE per annum, dependent on skills and experience. The Education Advisor position is based at our EIT| Te Pukenga Hawke's Bay campus, reports to the Learning Design and Technologies Lead, and will be responsible for: Providing leadership and guidance to a range of curriculum and learning design projects across various disciplines. Contributing to the development and review of policies and guidelines relating to curriculum and learning design. Designing and delivering professional development support to managers and academics, primarily in the area of curriculum and learning design and development (includes coaching, workshop facilitation, etc.). A post-graduate qualification in Education, Learning Design, or Educational Technology (desirable). Extensive knowledge and experience of learning design principles and practices, curriculum design and development, and current learning and teaching practice at a tertiary level (including using the ADDIE model). Knowledge and experience of current learning and teaching practice including the application of technology that supports learning. Experience in change management and project management methodologies. Proven ability to balance priorities; identify valid options; solve problems and make decisions in a range of situations. Advanced report writing, research, and analytical skills.
