Physiotherapist: Early Discharge and Rehabilitation Service (EDARS)
Full Time (1 FTE), Fixed term (December 2024 to October 2025)

We are looking for an experienced Physiotherapist to work within our Early Discharge and Rehabilitation Service (EDARS). This position is full time, fixed term until October 2025. This role will primarily be based at the Takapuna base on Auckland's North Shore.

EDARS focuses on providing a comprehensive, intensive and coordinated home-based rehabilitation service for people in the Waitemata community. The service delivers individually prescribed rehabilitation to patients, based on their specific needs and goals. EDARS is an interdisciplinary team comprised of: Dieticians, Geriatrician, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Registered Nurse, Social Worker, Speech and Language Therapist and Therapy Assistants. Currently, EDARS provides home-based intensive rehabilitation to people over 65; however, next year the service will be expanded to provide all ages adult rehabilitation.
We are looking for an experienced Physiotherapist who enjoys working with adults with neurological conditions. You will be committed to providing excellent service and continuous quality improvement, and have excellent written and verbal communication, time management and prioritisation skills. You will be able to use up-to-date technology to ensure efficiency of working in the community. You require a NZ drivers licence and be eligible to work in New Zealand.
