We might have your dream role We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Ecommerce & Digital Manager to develop and lead our fast-growing ecommerce & digital marketing functions.
We are looking for someone to join our Support Office team in Newmarket, Auckland and lead the way in optimising our websites and digital channels to continue our ecommerce growth while leading and developing our talented digital marketing team.
The role You will be responsible for driving ecommerce growth for our brands, creating a seamless online customer experience, and delivering brand digital marketing campaigns to meet our growth objectives.
A day in our life would have you working closely with our external partners to develop and lead our ecommerce roadmap and you'll be leading & coaching a high performing team of ecommerce and digital enthusiasts.
You will be collaborating closely with our digital and creative marketing teams to produce strategies to execute leading campaigns & channel content.
Key responsibilities Manages all website strategy and ecommerce functionality to drive performance and exceptional customer experience.
Understanding and enhancing the integration of ecommerce throughout the business, including best practice for supporting infrastructure (fulfilment, returns, shipping etc.)
Facilitate key partner and agency relationships to lead competitive websites, marketing, and digital strategies.
Drive ecommerce tactics to ensure continued growth and optimal site performance.
Actively design and lead the digital marketing execution plan, suggesting promotional and tactical activity for our dynamic brands.
Lead and coach a high performing team of ecommerce and digital enthusiasts, managing priorities and allocation of resources while growing and developing them in their roles.
Manage the relationships, budgets, and resource needs for our ecommerce & digital technology partners.
Work collaboratively to continuously improve customer experience across our digital touch points and consistently provide a seamless online experience.
Work with both internal and external ecommerce and digital partners to manage new projects.
Stays apprised of and educates the business on emerging digital and ecommerce trends, constantly pushing boundaries and looking for opportunities.
To be successful in this role you will have experience leading ecommerce and digital marketing strategies within a retail or brand environment.
You will have a strong affinity with the customer and be confident in ecommerce best practices and user-centered website design & digital marketing principles.
With strong commercial acumen, you will be data driven, analytical, methodical and results focused.
Team and project leadership is a core part of this role.
You will be able to lead and deliver technical ecommerce projects at pace, while working collaboratively and inclusively with the wider team.
We are looking for someone with : A strategist proven success in leading ecommerce and digital marketing strategies at scale - Proficient technical ecommerce expertise - you know the ins and outs of how websites work and can brief work to various development teams.
- Developed leadership skills - you have experience leading teams within a fast-paced environment and feel confident in your ability to coach and develop our team.
- Exceptional communication skills - this role will have you, managing projects, planning campaign execution, and introducing new strategies and technology to our business.
- A team approach - you love to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders and can represent the business well in external settings.

- An Eye for detail - Strong analytical skills, you feel at home booking at data and can draw insight from information and have passion for problem solving.
- Experience in managing digital marketing channels , including significant performance budgets.
- Solid proficiency in paid search (primarily Google Ads), paid social and SEO.
