Job Description As eCommerce Category Manager, the role centres around developing and implementing online category plans and campaigns to achieve respective forecast.
You'll work across business in developing strategies to ensure your online Category is optimally merchandised (is fully optimised).
This is a multi-faceted role, a solid mix between, strategic, creative, analytical and implementation.
A large part of your day-to-day will involve analysing product performance and trends, and then turning the data into key insights around possible improvements and how to drive sales.
There is a huge amount of scope to influence & change the way our customers interact with us on a digital platform.
Core responsibilities will see you: Prioritise categories within your portfolio based on online performance Collaborate with Merchandise and Marketing to develop category online plans based on customer, channel and product insights, competitive environment & international best practice Identify category gaps and drive online range extension Influence & coordinate across teams to deliver against plans and wider business strategies Identify category trading opportunities for online events or promotions Prepare and maintain category online event calendar Manage category presence online to support promotional activity of wider business Identify and coordinate marketing and digital content support for category-specific promotions Analyse and understand detail behind performance reports and use them to identify potential opportunities or deficiencies Provide regular reporting on category performance Identify category merchandising opportunities & implement improvements to search, navigations, filters and sorting rules Qualifications There is no playbook for this role so we will rely on your comfort to roll up your sleeves and join us pave the way, embracing new ways of working and reshaping our category digi focus and activities.
We are looking for: Intermediate to advanced Excel including ability to do basic VLOOKUPs Strong analytical & numeric skills Experience with Google Analytics Strong relationship building & influencing skills Commercial & customer focused mind-set Creative problem solving & multitasking ability A team player but also able to work independently Enthusiasm for online Prior experience of ecommerce or category management preferred It would be great if you also have: Understanding of SQL/Databases advantageous XML experience a bonus   Knowledge & experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Eagle Eye, BazaarVoice Additional Information If you think your background might lend itself well to success here and can start immediately/ASAP, apply today!
