About the role:Reporting to the Dunedin Ecology Manager, you will be responsible for supporting on the delivery of freshwater Ecology projects, throughout the region.
You will manage small projects and support senior staff with more complex projects too, continuing to develop your technical skills.
Key ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:Support project delivery using established ecology practicesOngoing professional development and participation in professional associationsShare expertise within ecology and across other technical disciplinesAssist with the delivery of large projects and manage small projectsMonthly invoices and weekly timesheetsPrepare reports and data for clientsPrepare quality proposals and assist in preparing and winning tendersUtilise financial management and job reporting systemsSkills & Qualifications: 4+ years experience as a Freshwater EcologistConsultancy experience highly desirableNew Zealand Ecology knowledgeExperience in Ecological effects assessment, management and restorationCenvP Ecology specialist certification or actively working towards itExcellent relationship building and communication skillsA team player with a passion for Making Sustainability HappenThe salary range for this role is between $70,000 and $80,000 depending on an individual's skills and experience.
