One of our wonderful teachers is going on maternity leave, creating an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as the preschool room Team Leader for a fixed term period!
In this role, you will inspire both our tamariki and kaiako, bringing your unique brand of fun, energy, and passion to our team.
This full-time position runs from October 2024 to March 2025, with opportunities to go permanent or transfer to one of our fantastic sister centres!
About us: In our Reggio Emilia-inspired environment, our physical spaces are carefully designed to provoke curiosity, creativity, and engagement.
Our Kaiako act as facilitators, observing and documenting children's interests and ideas, and then using those observations to guide further learning experiences.
We love being a part of our community and going on regular excursions to places such as St Andrews Resthome, Cambridge Library, House of Wonder Vegetable Garden and more!
About You: Our ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering a high standard of care to all our children and have a warm, caring and kind disposition.
You will be an outstanding communicator, friendly, approachable and enjoy a challenge.
A genuine passion and ability to respond to the development needs of our tamariki through planning and curriculum would also be high on the list of skills we are looking for.
A Level 7 qualification in ECE or Primary and a current Practising Certificate is a must!
