We welcome applications from kaiaiko who are keen to work where the first priority is the education and wellbeing of tamariki and kaiako. We are looking for a registered teacher to join our enthusiastic team of teachers at Waiapu Kids – Te Hapara Whanau Aroha so that we can grow our roll.
At Waiapu Kids Te Hapara we provide a homely, bicultural environment where fun is valued and tamariki learn and grow under the guidance of supportive, loving kaiako. We appreciate what each tamaiti, whanau and kaiako bring to the relationship and take a holistic approach to education and care that is inclusive of whanau. We care about the professional development and growth of our kaiako and provide conditions to support them to be the best teachers they can be.
This is a permanent teaching position for 20-25 hours per week (negotiable). The position is suitable for a fully registered, experienced teacher who is interested in taking on some of the Team Leader duties while our Team Leader is on parental leave. A higher duties allowance would be payable during this period.
