About us:
Picture a place where your little one gets to explore, create, and learn through play and collaboration. In our Reggio Emilia-inspired centre, our Kaiako act as facilitators, guiding children's learning and supporting their interests and ideas. The environment is designed to be sensory-rich, with natural materials and open-ended resources. We love being part of our community and going on regular excursions to places such as ST Andrews Resthome, Cambridge Library, House of Wonder Vegetable Garden and more!
Our ideal candidate will have:
Huge reserves of enthusiasm and energy
Competency in planning, curriculum and regular and emergent reviews
A personality that builds and develops strong relationships with staff and parents/whanau
An ECE or Primary teacher qualification and registration as an ECE teacher in New Zealand
A nurturing, caring disposition, and passion for supporting young children to thrive
The ability to build and maintain responsive relationships with children and their whanau
