Te Aroha Noa Community Services is a multi-disciplinary social service organisation that provides a mixed range of services including an Early Childhood Centre. Our core organisational objective is to support empowered community through providing early intervention, integrated and holistic services.
The Role: ECC Administrator 16 hours per week We have a vibrant Early Childhood Centre that prioritises the well-being and development of children while supporting whanau. Our Centre thrives on strong community connections and a philosophy grounded in inclusivity and Te Tiriti o Waitangi. We are looking for a dedicated ECC Administrator to join our team and ensure the smooth running of our operations and administration.
Key Responsibilities: Administration & Finance:
· Manage waiting lists, enrolments, and absence records efficiently.
· Welcome visitors and direct enquiries to the appropriate staff.
· Provide administrative support to the Centre Team Leader and management.
· Assist in the development and maintenance of enrolment and subsidy forms.
· Maintain accurate personnel and wage systems, along with Health & Safety procedures.
· Handle financial administration tasks, including timesheets, receipting, invoicing, and managing family accounts.
· Prepare and manage the Centre's budget, banking, and accounts for payment.
· Support with Ministry of Education (MOE) requirements, WINZ applications, and other financial reporting.
· Document & Policy Management:
· Maintain and review Centre documentation, ensuring alignment with the Centre's kaupapa and philosophy.
· Support the effective implementation of Centre policies, procedures, and objectives.
· Ensure compliance with all relevant legislative, monitoring, and reporting requirements.
· Collaborate with whanau and facilitate their aspirations for their children.
Community & Network Engagement: · Liaise with external health and educational services (e.g., pediatricians, dental nurses, Plunket).
· Ensure children receive health services, including immunizations, vision and hearing checks, and dental care.
· Support refugee families to access Early Childhood Education and other services.
