A Mobile Plant Operator is required to facilitate the on-going placement of biosolids and the rehabilitation of the Puketutu Island facility. The role will mainly involve driving a large tractor pulling three side tipping trailers and operating a loader. Experience in other machines i.e diggers, trucks or similar is advantageous.
Teamwork and commitment to Health and safety is key in this role where you will be an all-rounder and assist with all of the different activities required.
You'll also be performing preventative and remedial maintenance and daily machine checks and carry out manual tasks involved with building cell walls and other areas of the site as required.
You will be a proven operator with 2-3 years' experience, who is confident with operating a variety of machinery plus a willing attitude to learn!
In this role you will bring:
Class 2 or above licence with WTR preferred will consider candidates with minimum full class 1.
Proven experience on construction sites, quarries or landfill projects
A positive attitude and demonstrate the desire to be a real team-player
Experience in a similar role where a good level of physical fitness is required.
