Our small preschool in beautiful Hanmer Springs (rural North Canterbury) is seeking a registered teacher to work part-time with the possibility of working full-time in the future. At Tree Bears Nursery & Preschool, we believe every child deserves a nurturing, creative, and engaging environment to learn and grow. We use a framework based on the virtues project where we promote trust, friendliness, respect, creativity, curiosity, unity, and independence.
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated early childhood teacher to join our team.
Our ideal candidate will have:
New Zealand ECE qualification and teachers' registration
Enthusiasm and energy
Competency in planning, curriculum, and regular and emergent reviews
A nurturing, caring disposition, and passion for supporting young children to thrive
The ability to build and maintain responsive relationships with children and their whanau
A gentle, patient, and empathetic approach to guiding learners, fostering a supportive learning environment that is nurturing and positive
Knowledge of ECE regulations
