Monday - Friday 8:30am – 3:00pm 6.5 hrs per day Total: 32.5 hrs per week Due to maternity leave we have a fixed term role for a professional, passionate, and caring Kaiako to join our kind-hearted and fabulous team for 2025. Our community owned not-for-profit early learning centre is a modern, spacious, purpose-built facility in a natural environment where relationships and people are at the centre of everything we do. We are licensed for 30 children and our farming community value the beautiful natural outdoor area and the homely comfort of the resources available. We have fabulous child teacher ratios of 1:8 with our 3-5 year olds. Within our team we value high levels of communication, and we nurture all our relationships. As a team member you will learn, grow, and share your own teaching practices. Ideal candidates will: Have an ECE Qualification, and a current NZ teacher registration.Be able to establish and maintain meaningful relationships with children, and their whanau.Be responsive to children's emotional and physical well-being.Understand Te Whariki and its implementation.Have an ability to meaningfully document and evaluate children's learning.Participate in professional learning development and the professional growth cycle.Be enthusiastic, motivated, and a valuable team member.Be passionate about kind words, kind hearts, listening and reflective teaching practices.Position is to commence Term 1 2025 until the conclusion of Term 4 2025 working 5 days per week for a total of 32.5 hours per week, including 10.5 hours of non-contact time within the four terms of the school year.
