We are a newly licensed nonprofit centre based at the top of Lake Whakatipu in Glenorchy, opening Monday 27 January 2025.
We are searching for a Wednesday teacher to join our small team of 3 on a regular basis working 7-10 hours per week.
Our centre is open Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8.45am-3.15pm for 12 tamariki each day.
We are looking for a Wednesday teacher to start at 8.30am and finish 3.30pm (7 hrs), with additional 1-3 work from home hours available depending on your schedule.
We are more than happy to negotiate on fuel and travel subsidies.

The role would suit a registered ECE kaiako looking for part-time work with small numbers and flexible arrangements.
Working closely with our Head Kaiako you will:

Foster learning and growth through play-based experience
Provide nurturing care and comfort to our tamariki
Build strong relationships with our tamariki, whanau and the Tahuna Glenorchy community
Support the Head Kaiako by managing day-to-day operations of the centre
Complete administrative and other tasks efficiently
Have an excellent standard of spoken and written English
Be proficient at using online platforms (such as Discover and StoryPark) to assess tamariki learning
