Early Childhood Centre Cook/Support Staff Young World Childcare Centre – Auckland, North Island
We have an exciting opportunity for the position of a cook at Young World Childcare Centre in Mt. Albert, Auckland. We are a warm and friendly working team where all our staff are highly respected, celebrated and supported to grow.
Our Centre has received a "Rito Award" from The Heart Foundation and we are looking for a cook who can carry on this journey with support.
This is a position for all 5 days with a minimum of 30 hours per week. It would include preparing meals, covering the staff for their lunch breaks when needed, and supporting them with set-ups within the rooms such as tables for meal times and children's beds for sleeping.
Our ideal candidate will be:
Willing to start their shift at 7:30 am.
Have a positive outlook and proactive approach.
Have huge reserves of energy and the ability to think quickly and adapt to changes.
Willing to work alongside the teaching team and learn from them.
Must own a car and a valid driver's license (weekly shopping required).
