We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Duty Technician to join our Maintenance team at InterContinental Auckland. As a crucial member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and upkeep of the hotel's facilities.
A little taste of your day to day Execute daily maintenance tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Manager;Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential issues promptly;Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems;Collaborate with the maintenance team to implement effective solutions;Perform repairs and maintain guest room facilities, light facilities, furniture, and equipment in a timely manner;Assist in the development and implementation of preventative maintenance programs;Work collaboratively with the maintenance and wider hotel team to achieve common goals.What we need from you Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays;Physical ability to lift, carry, and move heavy equipment and perform manual tasks;Strong problem-solving skills;Excellent teamwork skills;Hotel experience is preferred but not essential.What you can expect from us We give our people everything they need to succeed.
