The role includes overseeing the whole store and also putting out stock in grocery, chilled, frozen, and liquor, and helping in any other areas of the store that need assistance.
We are looking for someone that is reliable, customer-focused, friendly, outgoing, and physically fit.
Most importantly, we need someone with a positive attitude who can stay calm under pressure and has experience leading a team.Responsibilities include:Ensuring the Fresh/Grocery/Chilled/Frozen/Liquor departments are presented in an appealing manner at all times.Providing customers with a great experience through checkouts.Resolving conflicts and giving clear direction.Maintaining a well-presented shop at all times.Building and maintaining displays.Handling customer inquiries.Assisting on checkouts when needed.For the right candidate, this role may include opportunities to learn about buying or management in the future.Preference will be given to applicants with supermarket experience.This role will be from Tuesday to Saturday, 12pm - 9pm.
The Duty Manager responsibilities will be required on Friday and Saturday nights.If you have a current Duty Manager Certificate, this would be preferred but not essential.If this sounds good, we would love to hear from you.
