Location: West Coast
Employment Type: Full-Time Permanent Position.
Hours of Work: Guaranteed a minimum of 30 hours per week, on a rotating roster, including weekends from Monday - Sunday.
Wage Rate: $29.66per hour
The Duty Manager role offers variety and is vital in ensuring the smooth and effective running of our Front Office department. This position requires a can-do attitude, great people skills, and the ability to work within a diverse team
Key Tasks & Responsibilities: Provide leadership in the Front Office department, including the supervision and oversight of Front Office shifts. Meeting and greeting guests, and managing guest reservations. Responding to guest enquiries. Oversight of security of the hotel property, and reporting any incidents or concerns to Management. Ensuring the requirements under the Sale & Supply of Alcohol Act and Scenic Hotel Group's host responsibilities are being met by all team members. Preferred Skills and Experience: 2-3 years of relevant Front Office experience in a hotel environment. An LCQ qualification, and a current Managers Certificate would be an advantage Flexible in availability Ability to resolve guest complaints professionally.
