Duty Manager

We are looking for 2 Duty Managers for our motels based in Christchurch.Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Overseeing the overall daily operations of the motel.Directing and supervising motel reservation, housekeeping, reception, and room service.Managing guest enquiries and requests.Manning the phone, taking bookings, managing guest check-ins and outs.Ensuring appropriate maintenance of property, garden, and security arrangements.Managing staff and monitoring their performance.Managing housekeepers, supervising their work, and preparing work rosters.Ensuring that the laundry is precisely cleaned.Reviewing guest satisfaction and introducing measures to improve the services.Maintaining high standards of service and hospitality at all times.Providing tourism information to guests and arranging transportation as necessary.Maintaining accounts and ordering necessary items.Performing other additional tasks as necessary to ensure smooth functioning.Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.We offer:Hours of work – Minimum 30 hours per weekPay rate – 31.00 per hourRequirements:Supervisory/managerial experience is not a requirementKnowledge of Abode booking softwareWillingness to work on weekends and public holidaysBe highly presentable
