If you're reliable, organized, and have a passion for hospitality, we'd love to hear from you.Job OverviewAs a Duty Manager/ Cafe Manager, you will help oversee the day-to-day operations of the cafe/restaurant, ensuring smooth service and a positive customer experience.
This is a hands-on role, assisting with staff coordination and providing support to the team while maintaining our high standards.Key Duties:Team Support: Assist in supervising and coordinating front-of-house staff.
Provide guidance and help with on-the-job training where needed.Customer Service: Ensure customers are served efficiently and courteously.
Address minor customer concerns or queries as they arise.Daily Operations: Assist with opening and closing procedures.
Oversee cleanliness and presentation of the venue during shifts.Compliance: Help maintain food safety and hygiene standards.
Follow health and safety protocols.Cash Handling: Assist with basic cash handling, such as end-of-shift reconciliations when required.Qualifications/Experience:At least 6 months of experience in hospitality or customer service.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.A positive attitude with the ability to work effectively under pressure.Basic understanding of food safety practices (training will be provided).What We Offer:A supportive and inclusive team environment.Flexible shifts across breakfast, lunch, and dinner service.Full-time hours (35-40 hours per week), including some weekends and public holidays.Pay: $28.70 - $30 per hour.If this sounds like you, we'd love to have you on our team!
