DUTY MANAGER

Then we want to hear from you - you could be our new Duty Manager!
Our Duty Managers, in the absence of Department Managers and other members of the Management Team, ensure a consistently fresh and appealing shopping experience for all customers and the smooth running of the store. They ensure at all times that our store appearance, security, service, and productivity are at the standard we set.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A current Duty Managers Certificate (LCQ)
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
Computer literate - may have worked with SAP before
Be available to work one day/night in the weekend (this is non-negotiable)
Have a flair for seeing more than just what is in front of you - you have an eye for detail (retail is detail after all!)
Have an understanding of what Food Safety in a commercial environment is and what Health and Safety means in a Supermarket
Previous experience in leading a team and supervising (but also, you know how to muck in to get the work done)
Be physically fit - there is some lifting involved (15kg)
Be legally able to work in New Zealand
This is a full-time role, and the successful applicant will be offered the following:
