Hotel Armitage and Conference Centre is looking for a Duty Manager to join our A-team, to focus on guest experience, across both Front Office and Food and Beverage outlets. You need to love working with people and have a real passion for customer service.

A positive attitude, bringing your knowledge of Front Office operations and Food and Beverage Service to our team The successful candidate will be responsible for completing both FO and FB tasks, including but not limited to:
Checking guests in/out, taking payments, making/amending bookings, monitoring emails and responding where necessary, training and supervision of the team, daily balancing of all financial transactions within the hotel Greeting, seating and serving guests in the restaurant and bar in a professional and friendly manner, set up of conference rooms and servicing them, overseeing the restaurant/bar/conference room cleanliness Excellent communication, both written and verbal The ideal candidate will be energetic and have a hands-on approach Ownership, creativity, and drive will be key parts of your personality! This role is multi-faceted, in a cooperative and close-knit hotel team. Night Audit experience would be an advantage, but a willingness to familiarise yourself with this process is needed, as you may be required to cover this shift from time to time. Follow standard operating procedures and check lists Ensure that all standards are maintained, profitability is maximized and customer needs are met. Ensuring 'Service Excellence Every time' when dealing with any guest requests or queries including organising rooms service. You will be an excellent motivator and supportive leader! This role has lots of room for growth for the right candidate Responsible for the upkeep and maintenance and cleanliness of foyer, reception area, bar, and the front of the building Current First Aid & Manager's Certificate (or ability to gain these) would be an advantage Solid organisational skills with an attention to detail in tasks performed No specific qualification is necessary, but a qualification in Hospitality, Tourism or Hotel Management would be a bonus, or equivalent experience of at least two years within a Restaurant, Hotel or Office environment, preferably in a Supervisory role.
