Are you good at helping to make changes that make things better (better for you, the customer, the store, and the community)?Then we want to hear from you - you could be our new Duty Manager!Our Duty Managers, in the absence of Department Managers and other members of the Management Team, ensure a consistently fresh and appealing shopping experience for all customers and the smooth running of the store. They ensure at all times that our store appearance, security, service, and productivity are at the standard we set.To be successful in this role, you will need:A current Duty Manager's Certificate (LCQ)Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)Computer literate - may have worked with SAP beforeAvailability to work one day/night on the weekend (this is non-negotiable)An eye for detail - retail is detail after all!An understanding of Food Safety in a commercial environment and Health and Safety in a SupermarketPrevious experience in leading a team and supervising, with the ability to contribute to getting the work donePhysical fitness - some lifting involved (up to 15kg)Legal ability to work in New ZealandThis is a full-time role, and the successful applicant will be offered the following:Immediate startSupport and training (for both the role and ongoing training as needed/interest expressed)Competitive hourly rateYou will also be joining our team just in time for our world-famous Kawerau Christmas Party!
