Duty Manager

Great opportunity to work as a Duty Manager in the reputed Jellicoe St Bar and Eatery in Te Puke.
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Duty Manager to join our team who can: Assist with the overall running of the business.
Manage the restaurant in the absence of the Restaurant Manager.
Train new staff and handle staff rostering.
Help manage stock levels and make key decisions about stock and product mix, overseeing stock takes.
Execute Food Control Plans and monitor food quality guidelines.
Ensure customer service standards are maintained and provide excellent customer service.
Address customer complaints.
Monitor financial performance.
Implement policies and compliance relevant to Health & Safety and employment laws.
Maintain a high level of morale and team cooperation, managing disciplinary issues.
We are a high-volume venue that has a capacity of over 200 people and operates from 11:30 am to 1:00 am.
