We have both full and part-time Duty Manager/Shop Assistant positions to join our fantastic team.
This is a varied role requiring a dynamic person who is willing to get to know people and be a friendly face of Four-Square Wanaka.Four Square Wanaka has recently come under new ownership, and we are looking for an experienced Duty Manager to join our friendly team.
We are committed to providing our customers with a great range of quality products every day – the store is in a great location to introduce people to Wanaka, and we are on the lookout for someone who will contribute to providing a great customer experience.This role requires a current Duty Manager's certificate, or six months recent experience in the sale of alcohol and a willingness to undertake a short course in the sale and supply of alcohol to gain your LCQ.
Applicants need to be extremely trustworthy, mature, and able to make confident and informed decisions as you will be leading the sale and supply of alcohol on behalf of the store.Applicants need to be able to work at least one weekend shift a week as well as a range of day and evening shifts.Key Tasks Include:Serving customers on the tills for general grocery purchases.Supporting other staff with processing the sale of alcoholic beverages and checking ID when necessary.Responding to customers' inquiries and handling any issues to find a solution.Ensuring every customer gets quick and friendly service and receives quality goods.Helping to maintain great presentation of the store and rotating stock.Cooking product and ensuring adherence to Food Safety and Health and Safety processes (training will be given).What you'll bring:Friendly demeanor and an ability to work in a team.Willingness to help others.Experience in selling alcohol (minimum six months) and/or a Duty Manager's certificate/LCQ.Reliability and great communication skills.Applications close 24th January 2025.Apply early – we will be interviewing as suitable applicants are received and the position may be filled earlier than the closing date.If you can tick all of the above and you are excited about being part of the Four-Square Wanaka team, then apply now!Permanent Full Time, Permanent Part Time.
