Each room is conceived to deliver a meaningful experience and strong connection to space.Hana Lodge is a luxury boutique hotel with 15 rooms offering an outdoor swimming pool, restaurant, fitness Centre and games room. Rotorua's city center and Rotorua International Airports just a short 15-minute drive away.As a F&B Duty Manager, you will be ensuring the smooth operations and management of the food and beverage outlets and events to deliver the best standard to all our guests.This is an exciting role - We need a passionate, creative, playful, and confident Duty Manager!Responsibilities include:Preparing and planning for events, restaurant, and bar shifts.Working closely with the Food & Beverage Manager and Restaurant Manager.Conducting on the job training for new team members.Accurate billing and cash-up procedures.Ensuring the health and safety of guests and team.Working with the team to improve standards and procedures.Handle guest complaints efficiently & effectively.To carry out other tasks and responsibilities as and when required by the Management.Flexible shifts that include weekends and public holidays.Understanding of systems to support driving results.Role requirements:Minimum 2 years' experience in the role in hotels or a busy restaurant.Experience in bar operations.Excellent command of both verbal and written English.Exceptional customer service skills.Strong leadership and communication skills.Impeccable personal hygiene and grooming standards.Working knowledge of POS systems.Flexibility with your availability for rostering.MUST HOLD CURRENT MANAGERS CERTIFICATE.If this sounds like you then apply today!
