Are you inspired by the challenge of facilitating high quality care and ready to move into a more advanced leadership role?Focus on Patient Flow and supporting safe staffing.Coordinate resources to ensure roster cover and skill mix is appropriate to meet clinical service delivery on a shift by shift basis.Lead and support the out of hours team with critical thinking, problem solving and clinical expertise.Encourage and support clinical staff to practise to their level of expertise / experience.Hold current registration and Valid APC.It is preferable that you have a relevant postgraduate qualification or are working towards a qualification at Masters Level.Current PDRP Level 4 or working towards completion/renewal would be advantageous.Alongside your strong leadership skills, you will be an excellent communicator with proven clinical credibility and be able to lead and support staff to foster sound critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.Experience in projects/initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.Working for Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand / Te Whatu Ora is 'the weaving of wellness'.
