Bar & Beverage Staff (Hospitality & Tourism)Location/ Place of work – VR Rotorua Lake ResortWage/Salary- $ 29.66 per hourJob Type – Permanent Full TimePosition – Duty Bar Manager X 1Hourly of work - Minimum 30 hours per weekREQUIREMENT:At least three years of relevant experience in hospitality industry.Should have experience in working with Alcohol for at least 2 years.Candidates must show their eligibility to work in New Zealand.Fully aware of the Alcohol S & S ActTASK Include:Must be an LCQ holder.Act as host for all patrons to the barAdvise customers on different types and brands of liquor, wines, and cocktails.Advise customers and waiting staff of wine/liquor marrying with food.Responsible for stock and stock management.Monitoring and maintaining productivity of the teamSchedule shifts and arrange for replacements in cases of absence and maintain attendance recordsAbility to control crowd and operate multitabs.Good practical knowledge of SCAB.PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS:Friendly and helpful.Polite and tactful.Resourceful and reliable.Organised, well-groomed and presentable.Good at listening and communicating.Able to work well as part of a team.As the job requires dealing with a wide range of people, they should also have an understanding and awareness of other cultures.Multilingual is a plus.
