Ouropening date is set for August 2024 we are seeking a Dry Operations Team Leader tojoin us! You'll play a key part in our journey towards a successful storeopening and continuously deliver an awesome shopping experience for ourcommunity.
As Dry Operations Team Lead you will: Work closely with the Dry Goods Manager to planand coordinate all facets of the day-to-day operations of the chilled andfrozen, liquor and grocery departments.Facilitate stock replenishment processes acrossthe department, leading your team to ensure shelves are replenished and fullthroughout the day.Oversee and manage stock flow and levels in ourstore.Maintain and work to stock control procedures –keeping product maintenance up to date.Manage the inwards goods processes.Train, mentor and lead your team.Identify items through the daily out of stockreport that require immediate replenishment.What's in it for you: We'rein it together,we look after each other, back one another, communicate effectively, and worktogether as one winning team, every time.Proveyourself in a new store and within New World which is known for its peopledevelopment and career opportunities.You'll beworking with the latest technology, equipment, and processes.Drivesomething within a flexible and creative working environment – if there's abetter way, let us know!Be partof a 100% locally owned and operated store.What we're looking for: Proven retail experience at a supervisor level or higher.Experienceand understanding of dry goods departments – Chilled and Frozen, Grocery orLiquor.Strong experience using SAP.Financiallyminded and process driven.Great people skills and people leadership potential.Reliable,self-motivated and be a good team player.Soundcomputer literacy and keen to learn and use the latest technology.About Us: You know New World, PAK'n'SAVE and Four Squareright?
