We are looking for an experienced Driver Operator to join our Roading team in Gisborne. In this role you will be responsible for operating a variety of plant and equipment including Rollers and Excavators on our roading sites, ensuring all works are carried out safely and to best practice. Reporting to the site foreperson and form part of a hardworking team who values each other. Responsibilities Drive and operate machinery, plant and equipment in a professional and safe manner. Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with the relevant job and work instruction. Always be aware of your surroundings and conscious of the safety and wellbeing of others. We're looking for someone with: Full Class 1 Licence, classes 2 - 4 will be advantageous. Wheels, Tracks & Rollers (WTR) endorsements. Sound roading construction knowledge and relevant skills. Sound understanding of site safety and hazard management. Self-motivated, can-do attitude and a team player. Excellent communication with co-workers and management.
