Driver Filler

Job DetailsMonday to Friday starting at 7am and finishing no later than 5pm.Rostered On-Call and Saturday morningsTime and a half paid on Saturdays*Hillsborough locationYou'll be responsible for delivering LPG gas cylinders to homes and businesses all around the region. You'll be dealing with customers face-to-face, and at times might need to answer questions or offer them solutions. We'll make sure you have all the training and support needed, so you are confident in giving accurate information.As you'll be handling dangerous goods, you need great attention to detail and a strong commitment to health and safety.Other duties include:Completing vehicle safety checksLoading product onto the truckDelivering pre-filled LPG cylinders and taking away the emptiesWhat's in it for you?$30 per hourYou'll be paid weeklyAssistance to obtain and maintain current Forklift and DG endorsementUniform and PPE providedWhat you need to be successful:Clean Class 2 licence with at least 6 months Class 2 driving experience and can drive a manual transmissionPhysically fit, with the ability to lift heavy items when doing deliveriesDangerous Goods licence and LPG filling experience (or be willing to undergo training)Flexible and adaptable with a strong focus on customer serviceAble to use handheld computer delivery equipmentProactive approach and responsibility towards Health and SafetySatisfactorily pass background checks such as: Criminal & ACC history, medical and Drug & Alcohol screeningTeam player with a can-do attitude and the flexibility to meet the demands of the operationMust be a NZ resident or hold a valid NZ work permit and be residing in the countryApplications MUST be received online to ensure they are visible to our Hiring Manager - so apply here now!
