Driver- Class 5

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Class 5 Driver to join our team in Tauranga. The Class 5 Driver will be responsible for transporting goods and equipment freight to various locations. This is a full-time, permanent position with a minimum guarantee of 40 hours per week and a rate between $28 - $32.

Responsibilities:
•Operate company vehicles in a safe and responsible manner
•Transport goods and equipment to and from various locations, including loading and unloading freight as needed
•Follow all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
•Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure timely delivery and pick-up of goods and equipment
•Maintain accurate records of all deliveries and pickups

Requirements:
•Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record
•Experience with containers and flat deck work is preferred
•Experience and knowledge of the transport industry
•Excellent communication and customer service skills
•Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure
•The ability to embrace new, industry-related IT technology within a modern fleet environment
•DG licence, F and OSH forklift endorsement would be an advantage but training towards gaining these would be available to the right person
