The Opportunity
Join New Zealand's leading Metal Building manufacturing and distribution business, and be part of the design of Coresteel, KiwiSpan, and MODNframe buildings.
Design Station is at the heart of Donovan Group, comprising a talented team of engineering and design professionals. Operating from our offices in Whangarei and the Philippines, they provide expert professional structural engineering and detailing design services for our Coresteel, KiwiSpan, MODNframe, and advanced manufacturing businesses.
Based at our Whangarei office, this role will involve doing detailed designs in Tekla while managing the process from design through to consent and detailing, to preparing the cut files for our manufacturing team. We are establishing and streamlining the use of Tekla in our business, so this is your opportunity to bring your knowledge and skills of it and get involved in our latest change project.
You will be working hands-on with the talented team of Design Station professionals, our manufacturing operations, and interacting with our national Coresteel and KiwiSpan networks too.
About You
You may have a relevant qualification or be studying towards a qualification - this isn't essential though.
You will have experience using Tekla - at least two years - and have full working knowledge and practical application of Tekla structural systems. Knowledge of Tekla API functionality would also be a huge advantage.
You are the type of person who doesn't settle for mediocrity. You have a great eye for detail, always do what you say you will do, and will be a collaborative team player who has a desire to learn and grow.
