We are looking for a leader of learning who will inspire students into drama from the grassroots level. This is an opportunity to develop, facilitate and coordinate quality programmes to engage students into drama at any level, interest and aspiration. This is definitely your time to shine and bring to the stage the very best of drama. We were the founding school of Polyfest so who knows what you may be capable of, but we welcome it!
You will inspire growth through a relational and culturally responsive framework, and work collaboratively with a team to design and facilitate learning across the department and wider school community. You will be pedagogically progressive, have a growth mindset and form effective professional and positive relationships.
Co-curricular involvement in the wider life of school is encouraged and an advantage.
We have firm foundations in culturally sustaining pedagogies and a commitment to the principles of restorative practice. The ideal candidate will be a permanent NZ resident who is a registered teacher, familiar with Te Mataiao NZ Curriculum , the National Qualifications Framework and NCEA.
