Drainlayer

Wilson Contractors is a well-established locally owned and operated company who specialise in civil contracting delivering a range of services including bulk earthworks, roading, drainage, infrastructure and site works throughout Central Otago, Lakes District and Southland since 2003.
We are currently looking for an experienced Certified Drainlayer ideally with experience in all aspects of civil drainage.
We are looking for a permanent full-time role based out of our Central Branch with work around Queenstown Lakes and Central Otago, working Monday-Friday with some Saturdays if required, minimum of 80 hours per fortnight.
The right candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Certified Drainlayer or Pipelaying qualification considered Excavator experience an advantage A current NZ drivers licence (class 2 preferable) with WTR endorsements Physically fit Reliable Able to lead a small team of people Able to work unsupervised but also be a proactive team member Demonstrated commitment to safety Good communication skills We offer the following benefits: Good rates of pay Health Insurance Family atmosphere, good support, great people All applicants must have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
