Job Description We are looking for an experienced Drainage Foreperson to join our Gisborne team helping to deliver the good work that we are known for.About the roleIn this role you will be responsible for overseeing the drainage crew and ensuring day-to-day tasks and works requirements are completed effectively and within budget constraints.You will also be responsible for:Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with the relevant instruction and specificationsDeveloping and coaching your crew to develop their skillsetsEnsuring your team complies with Health and Safety requirements, to maintain the safety of yourself, your team and the publicAbout youYou will be an experienced Drainlayer with great leadership and people management skills, open communication skills, and a keen eye for detail and safety.You'll also need:A full class 2 licence with WTR endorsements (essential)Certified DrainlayerMinimum of 10 years' experience in the civil drainage / construction industryAbility to read and understand construction drawingsSkilled excavator operator to a high levelGreat time management skills to ensure goals and deadlines are metA safety-first approach to ensure the safety of yourself, your team and the publicExcellent verbal and written communication skillsA positive, can-do attitude with proven ability to lead a teamWhat can we do for you?We have a great team culture and supportive work environment here in Fulton Hogan.
