Based in Penrose, this is your opportunity to join a dedicated and skilled drainage team, where you'll be an essential part of keeping Auckland's water and wastewater systems in top shape. Using cutting-edge CCTV technology, you'll inspect and maintain our pipelines, ensuring smooth operations across the city.
Duties of this role will include: Flushing and inspecting pipes using high-tech CCTV systemsPump stations reactive and planned maintenanceRepairing pipes and manholesResponding to overflows and keeping things flowing smoothlySupporting minor infrastructure upgrades that directly impact the communityYou're not just a tech operator - you're a problem-solver, a communicator, and someone with a passion for quality. Whether working independently or collaborating with the team, you're committed to getting the job done right. Plus, you're confident in engaging with customers and the public, making sure they know our city's water is in good hands.
To be successful in this role you will hold: A full driver's licence (Class 2 is preferred)Experience in drainage and CCTV operationsFlexibility to work shifts, and a love for variety in your dayConfidence with hand tools and a great work ethicA strong commitment to Health and SafetyIf you love solving problems, working hands-on with technology, and are excited about contributing to Auckland's infrastructure, this role is for you!
