Sushi Cook Wanted
 
Location: Hamilton, Waikato
Employment Type: Full-time (guaranteed 30 hours / per week, rostered from Monday to Sunday with one day off, and the successful candidate must be available for morning shifts starting at 5:00am), Permanent
Our pay: $28.18-$30.00 per hour
 
We are now looking for 3 Sushi Cooks to enhance our team. We are expecting someone who has a passion for customer service, attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and be a proactive member of the team.
 
You are required to:
 
·      Cutting, slicing, and filleting different types of fish.
 
·      Preparing various types of sushi dishes according to established guidelines on quality, portion size, presentation, and food safety.
 
·      Maintaining a clean work environment in order to prevent food contamination.
 
·      Reporting any problems with kitchen equipment to the manager on duty.
 
·      Sterilizing all utensils, instruments, and equipment used in sushi preparation before every use.
 
·      May take orders and receiving payment from customers
 
 
To be successful you will need: 
 

Qualification is not required
The capability of operating kitchen equipment
Relevant experience is an advantage but not required as training will be provided
