Skip to content We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic Business Development Manager to join our busy and motivated Tauranga team, on a full-time basis. Someone with an outstanding work ethic, self-discipline, persistence and the ability to work independently, yet at the same time be a team player who highly values building strong internal and external relationships. Is this you? Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Maintain Elite's business relationships with current clients by making regular and productive connections with clients at the same time as hunting out new business and developing a strong pipeline Provide business solutions by selling photocopiers, performing your own prospecting activities and leveraging the relationships of existing Elite accounts Create solutions that will benefit each client's business Structure deals and create proposals for clients, along with presentations/demos Work with the team across the entire Elite Group to promote broader business opportunities across all of Elite's business solutions To be successful in this role, you will have these skills: Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) and a warm, approachable personality Motivation, professionalism, reliability and an abundance of energy  Experience (particularly B2B) and confidence in sales  A proven successful track record of business development, door knocking, pursuing sales and account management Experience in lead generation, pipeline management and meeting/exceeding sales targets An aptitude for and a healthy interest in technology Mental agility to keep up to date in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment Great time management, organisational and deadline driven mindset, along with having initiative to complete tasks without direct supervision Access to a reliable car and a current NZ drivers' licence As a member of our team, you will enjoy: A competitive base salary - and additionally, a vehicle allowance and uncapped commission  Fantastic, supportive team environment at a leading technology organisation Comprehensive and professional training to help you achieve outstanding results A small base of existing clients who you will manage Elite Business Systems is a leading Technology Solutions Partner founded in 1988 with a key focus on building long-lasting business relationships.
