Job Description This role provides an opportunity to use your sound judgement and organisational skills as you work effectively to manage multiple doctoral examinations involving a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
Reporting to the Doctoral Examination Team Lead, you will be responsible for delegated decision making within complex regulations, policy and process for doctoral examinations.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
Provide expert consistent advice to candidates, supervisors, academic heads and senior stakeholders on complex and extensive policy, procedures and guidelines relating to doctoral examination.
Organisation of all aspects of doctoral examinations from thesis submission to completion, including oral examinations.
Assessment of examiner nominations, examination reports and delegated decision making.
Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior international academics.
This role is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, on a permanent basis. The salary range for this role is $58,300 - $72,700 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Our ideal applicant will have:
A tertiary qualification with at least 2-3 years' relevant work experience in a large complex organisation, preferably in the tertiary sector.
A demonstrated ability to use sound judgement to make decisions in a complex regulatory environment.
An understanding of the doctoral lifecycle and research candidate sector.
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior academic staff.
